Please congratulate Lily Mellinger who will be showing these incredible ceramic containers she created in the juried 2026 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts K-12 Exhibition! Lily's work was one of 150 works chosen out of over 1051 entries. Of these entries, 752 were competing juniors and seniors. Her work will be shipped to Detroit, Michigan and will be on display at the NCECA convention and viewed by over 3000 visitors at the end of this March.

Due to anticipated winter weather conditions, all Garnet Valley School District schools and district offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026.
The forecast remains consistent, with snow followed by freezing rain and sleet expected overnight and into the morning. Our facilities and maintenance teams are actively working to stay ahead of conditions, but travel is expected to be unsafe. Closing schools is the most responsible decision for our students, staff, and families.
At this time, we plan to operate on a normal schedule on Tuesday. An update will be shared tomorrow afternoon after we fully assess school campuses, main roads, back roads, and residential developments across the district.
Stay safe, and if conditions allow, we hope you are able to enjoy some time outside and a day of sledding with your kids.
