Garnet Valley is one of only a few districts that provides a device to every staff member and student with no charge. Our neighboring districts either charge a technology fee or mandate that staff members and/or parents purchase insurance. We believe our model of optional device insurance is more staff/parent-friendly while still being fiscally responsible. For staff/parents that chose not to purchase device insurance, please see the cost breakdown below for when damages occur.

Any device that stops working because of a hardware or software issue will be replaced by the district at no cost. If you believe your device fits this category, please contact your school’s Technology Support Specialist.
