ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence technology that specializes in generating original responses to questions in real-time through dialogue. We wanted to inform you about a new technology called ChatGPT and its potential impact on education.

Garnet Valley Schools and offices will be closed tomorrow–Friday, December 23rd due to impending weather.

Congratulations to the our GVHS students who have achieved scouting’s highest ranking with Bethel Township’s Troop 191, led by Joe Forward and Daryl Kern, and Concord Township’s Troop 260, led by Jim Davis and Greg Murray. We present these Eagle Scouts with Certificates of Achievement on behalf of the Garnet Valley School District and the Board of School Directors.

As you now know, BusPatrol outfitted the entire fleet of Garnet Valley buses with automated enforcement technology to detect the license plates of vehicles that fail to stop for school buses, putting children at risk.

This year’s program will be held at Garnet Valley Middle School on November 3rd, at 7pm. This unique opportunity is available to all K-12 parents to learn, share, and support each other as a community.

There was an accident on Route 1 between Stoney Bank and Valleybrook Roads. Currently, the district transportation fleet has no access to Walnut Hill, Brandywine Circle, Lydia Hollow, or Bonnie Lane. Emergency Management Services estimate that it could be close to 10AM before the issue is resolved.

The Board unanimously approved the 2022-23 District Health and Safety Plan and also supported the goal of normalizing student life throughout the school community. Board also approved $10M to move forward with planning, design, and critical work at Pennington. This decision does not mean that the district is committed to moving forward with either project. Instead, it approves the expense of planning and design and a portion of the totality of the projects.

Our Garnet Valley School District site is currently inaccessible to anyone outside of our district campus. We have been working diligently with the site platform representatives, and our network representatives to correct this issue.
