1-28-2022 Early Dismissal

Dear School Community,

We are dismissing students early today. Road conditions are deteriorating and our sidewalks and driveways are beginning to ice as well. The forecast shows a lull in precipitation around 11AM or so and then we should receive more precipitation. As a result, we are using the lull in conditions to our advantage and dismissing students based on the schedule below: 

The schedule is as follows:

High School Dismissal–12:30 PM

Student drivers who are uncomfortable driving in these conditions can leave their cars in the parking lot and take district transportation.

Middle School Dismissal–1:00 PM

Elementary School Dismissal–1:30 PM

Other important notes:

There will be no afternoon Kindergarten

There will be no extended day Kindergarten

All extracurricular activities are canceled

Offices will close at 3:00 PM

I apologize for the late notice and inconvenience. We were not expecting conditions to deteriorate this quickly. We are hoping that the forecast will cooperate with our dismissal plans.
