Closing After School Activities

Dear School Community,

All after school activities are canceled this afternoon. I realize that these changes in schedules cause disruption, upset feelings, and inconvenience for families, but with tonight’s forecast of “flash freezing” we do not want to risk putting students and families at risk. Unfortunately, even if we salted this afternoon, the moisture and rain would dissolve it. Considering the continued precipitation and rapidly falling temperatures, salting will have a limited effect. We believe that in order to keep our families safe, we will need to cancel after school activities. Thank you for your understanding!
