I wanted to bring to your attention that yesterday afternoon multiple vehicles were broken into at Concord Park next to GVMS. Although "smash and grabs" are not uncommon this time of year, it's imperative that we work together to ensure that Garnet Valley remains a safe and caring community. Please take the following steps to improve the security of your vehicle:
Lock your car doors at all times.
Remove any items of value or secure them in your trunk (out of sight; out of mind)
Remove loose change.
Park in well lit areas at night.
Even when your vehicle is in your driveway, lock it and follow the practices above.
Finally, if you observe suspicious or illegal behavior, call the police immediately. Let's make our collective efforts deter criminals from coming into our community!!!
